All Conference USA First Team Honoree (2016)

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Competed at the UNM Lobo Invitational posting a time of 16:57.3 in the 5K … ran at the Lori Fitzgerald and NCAA Mountain Region Championships. 

2016 (FRESHMAN): Garnered four top-30 finishes during the 2016 campaign… earned first team honors for his sixth-place performance (8K/ 24:16.2) at his first Conference USA Championships that aided UTEP in winning its second-straight conference title…finished in 29th-place at the NCAA Mountain Regionals with his fastest 10K time (31:39.2) to help the Miners clinch a NCAA Championships berth…registered a personal-best 8K time at the Notre Dame Invitational (28th/ 24:13.1) to aid the Miners' second-place efforts…clinched third-place at the Kachina Classic (6.4K/ 19:45.13)…ran a 32:08.0 10K at the NCAA Championships.
