Ariel Boyd-Ghani joined the UTEP Sports Medicine staff in 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She provides healthcare and rehabilitation for the Beach Volleyball and Cross Country teams.
Before joining UTEP, she worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Antelope Valley. She primarily provided care for the indoor volleyball, women’s basketball, and baseball teams.
Ariel graduated from Clayton State University as a student athlete in 2019, earning a B.S in Health and Fitness Management. She went on to complete a M.S degree in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. While completing her M.S degree, she had the opportunity to work with Olympic athletes at the annual Mt SAC Golden Games, the University of Arizona football team, and the Barça Residency Academy student-athletes in Tucson, Arizona.
Boyd-Ghani is a Georgia-native. She likes to hike and go on bike rides in her spare time.
