EL PASO, Texas -- No. 2 Hawaii unleashed a pair of All-Americans on the Miners, as the Rainbow Wahine cruised to a 30-13, 30-21, 30-20 win in front 1,325 fans at Memorial Gym Thursday night.

Kahumoku recorded a match-high 25 kills with nine digs, while hitting .561 (25-2-41). Willoughby was almost equally impressive with 17 kills and 10 digs, while hitting .423 (17-6-23).
UTEP struggled in the match, hitting a meager .028 (29-26-109).
Hawaii shut down UTEP's Jennifer Abbruzzese, limiting the All-WAC performer to five kills on the night.
UTEP freshman Kari Stacy, who was playing in her first collegiate match, recorded a team-high 12 kills.
The Miners return to action next Thursday at 7 p.m., when UTEP hosts Tulsa at Memorial Gymnasium.
