Miners in 13th at Final Tournament of the Fall

The UTEP women's golf team is in 13th place through 36 holes of The Challenge at Wolfdancer in Austin, Texas. It is the Miners' final tournament of the fall season.

The Miners fired rounds of 331 and 314 for a total of 645 on Sunday.

Middle Tennessee State leads the 13-team field (305-298-603) with 18 holes to play on Monday.

UTEP's Elizabeth Sobczak is tied for 18th place (79-76-155), Shang-Fan Huang (84-76-160) and Deborah Martinez (83-77-160) are tied for 40th place, and Ana Pastor is tied for 64th place (85-85-170).

A pair of Middle Tennessee State players, Taryn Durham and Morgan Hale, both shot 146 on Sunday to tie for the individual lead.
