The UTEP Track and Field Hall of Fame is a who's who of former world-class athletes. It features the likes of Olympic gold medalist and former world record holder Bob Beamon, Suleiman Nyambui, who is one of the most decorated individuals in NCAA history, and world champion sprinter Bert Cameron. Membership to this elite club requires a NCAA title or having superior accomplishments on the international scene. The class of 2004 included Olapade Adeniken and the 1976 distance medley relay team (Paul Njoroge, Joe Gichongeri, James Munyala and Wilson Waigwa).
