The UTEP women's golf team garnered a second place showing at the Bob Hurley Auto ORU Shootout on Tuesday in Tulsa, Okla.
The Miners had a two-day total of 924 with rounds of 302, 308 and 314. Host Oral Roberts presided over the 18-team field with 913 (301-305-307).
ORU's Christy Carter was the individual medalist, carding a three-over-par 219 (73-70-76).
UTEP's Teresa Nogues finished sixth (76-74-78-228), Deborah Martinez eighth (74-78-78-230), Ana Pastor tied for 13th (74-79-80-233), Liz Sobczak tied for 16th (78-77-79-234) and Samantha Garza tied for 54th (82-84-79-245).
