The UTEP women's golf team nabbed a fourth-place finish at the UALR Classic, which concluded on Tuesday in Little Rock, Ark.
The Miners posted their best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting 295 for a 54-hole total of 900. Host Arkansas-Little Rock bested the 18-team field with 893.
Rosana Gomez (79-71-73-223) and Teresa Nogues (78-72-73-223) tied for ninth place to lead UTEP. Shang-Fan Huang tied for 23rd place (76-76-74-226), while Liz Sobczak (75-79-80-234) and Deborah Martinez (81-78-75-234) tied for 41st place.
