The UTEP women's golf team finished 12th at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational on Wednesday in Honolulu.
The Miners finished with a 54-hole total of 949 (310-310-329), as Mississippi State dominated the 15-team field to win the event (288-296-291-875).
UTEP's Camino Sardinero couldn't maintain her 36-hole standing atop the leaderboard and tied for sixth place with a five-over-par 221 (71-70-80).
The Miners' Emma Burman tied for 60th place (80-75-85-240), Alisa Rodriguez tied for 66th place (80-81-85-246) and Amber Herrera tied for 71st place (79-90-79-248).
UTEP will return to action at the UALR Classic March 24-25 in Hot Springs, Ark.
