ROUND 1 RESULTS
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The UTEP Women's Golf squad wrapped up the opening round of play at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational on Sunday tied for ninth place at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
In the first round, the Miners were paced by
Audrey Haddad, who finished the day in a three-way tie for seventh place individually after shooting 3-under-par 69 on Sunday.
Overall, the UTEP Miners shot 296 (+8) over the course of the first 18 holes to finish the day in a three-way tie for ninth place as a team. Round two is set for Monday morning in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
UTEP's
Valeria Mendizabal ended the first day at even par and tied for 22nd individually after the junior shot 72, while
Sophie Delfosse finished a few shots behind her teammate with a score of 76 (+4) on Sunday.
Taylor Stone closed out the first round by shooting 7-over-par 79 on the afternoon, while
Andrea Ostos shot 82 (+10) to wrap up day one of the Pat Bradley Invitational.
UTEP will tee off beginning at 8 a.m. ET on Monday morning, while the Miners will be paired with Gonzaga and UTRGV for tomorrow's second round.
