DALLAS – Kalia Kohler earned the sixth 2023 Conference USA Volleyball Player of the Week honors presented by Blenders Eyewear on Monday by the league office.  

Kohler named CUSA Freshman of the Week   
Kohler earned her second CUSA Freshman of the Week award after her performance was influential in the Miner's success with a pair of sweeps over Jacksonville State. She led UTEP with a total of 29 assists (5.80/set) across the weekend and combined with Mattie Gantt for over 55 percent of assists in a 6-2 system. Kohler produced a .448 hitting clip and racked up one kill, three service aces and two digs in six sets. 

UP NEXT 
UTEP will travel to Las Cruces, N.M., as it takes on I-10 Rival, NM State, Oct. 3-4. The Miners will then welcome FIU for a pair of matches, Oct. 7-8.
