Biography

2021 (JUNIOR)
  • Competed in all six meets in first season as a Miner during the 2021 season
  • Named All-Conference USA third team
  • Finished 21st in the 8K at the Conference USA Championships (25:16.1)
  • Posted an 11th-place finish in the 5K at the Lori Fitzgerald Memorial
  • Opened UTEP career at the Texas Tech Open
  • Ran at the Live in Lou XC Classic, Arturo Barrios Invite
  • Competed at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships

PRIOR TO UTEP
  • Competed at the University of Houston from 2018 thru 2021.
  • Ran in 13 cross country events as a Cougar. 
  • Clocked in a personal-best 32:54.3 in the 10K at the 2019 NCAA Division I South Central Region Cross Country Championships. 
  • Finished sixth in the 2021 HBU Season Opener in the 3.1m, posting a time of 16:30.4. 
  • Finished sixth in the indoor 5000, clocking in a personal-best 15:27.50 at the 2019 Charlie Thomas Invitational. 
  • Claimed first place in the indoor mile race, recording a personal-best time 4:27.07 at the 2021 H-Town SpeedCity Series IV. 
  • Posted a personal-best 4:08.84 in the outdoor 1500 at the 2021 Tom Tellez Invitational. 
  • Three-time All-District nominee at Eastwood High School. 
  • Qualified for the state meet three times in his high school career and finished eighth at the 2017 meet.
  • Helped lead Eastwood to a third-place finish in the overall standings at the 2017 6A State Championship meet and earned Second Team All-State honors.
