Kyle Devaney joined the UTEP staff as a volunteer defensive quality control coach for the 2024 season and is in his second year.

Devaney previously served as a graduate assistant coach at Kean University in Union, N.J., where he worked with the wide receivers and running backs from the fall of 2022 through the spring of 2024. A former wide receiver and quarterback, Devaney played three seasons at Kean University (2019–22) after beginning his collegiate career at Washington & Jefferson College (2018–19) in Washington, Pa.
