Pulled from redshirt status following injuries to Brodricks Jones and Matt Willms ... appeared in 14 games ... scored 12 points with five rebounds in 50 minutes ... shot 50 percent (5-for-10) from the field ... made his UTEP debut against Florida A&M and scored four points in 11 minutes ... scored off an offensive rebound versus NM State ... added two points against Sam Houston State ... contributed two points and a rebound versus UTRGV ... played four minutes in the C-USA opener against Rice and pitched in with two points (two free throws) and two rebounds.
PRIOR TO UTEP
Contributed 15 points and nine rebounds per game as a senior at Mahomet Seymour High School ... led the Bulldogs to the 3A Super-Sectional, where they came up a win short of a berth in the state Final Four ... three-time member of the varsity team ... came into his own as a junior when he averaged 10 points and eight rebounds ... was an All-Cornbelt Conference honoree, helping the Bulldogs take second place in the league ... three-star recruit by Rivals.com and the no. 18 player in Illinois by 247Sports ... also played baseball and football in high school ... honor roll student.
