- Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 INDOOR (SENIOR)
- Leaped out to a personal-best 1.99m (6’6.25”) in the high jump, placing fifth at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
- Finished fourth with a 1.95m (6’4.75”) mark in the high jump at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational.
- Posted a 1.97m (6’5.5”) mark at the Texas Tech Corky Classic.
2019 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Earned silver in the high jump at the UTEP Springtime with a leap of 1.88m
- Competed in the high jump at the Texas A&M Invitational and Desert Heat Classic.
- Placed ninth at the Conference USA Championships in the high jump (1.88m).
2019 INDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Finished fifth in the high jump (1.97m) at the New Mexico Classic.
- Tied season best with a leap of 1.97m at the New Mexico Don Kirby.
- Placed eighth at the Conference USA Championships in the high jump (1.95m).
2018 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
- Placed 10th at the C-USA Championships in the high jump.
2018 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
- Opened the indoor season with a fifth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.90m (6-2.75) at the Commodore Invitational.
- Competed at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational clearing 1.92m (6-3.5) in the high jump.
- Achieved a personal best in the high jump with a height of 1.97m (6-5.5) at the Texas Tech Classic.
- Took 12th place at the New Mexico Classic with a readout of 1.92m (6-3.5) in the high jump.
- Secured 13th place with a 1.96m (6-5) high jump at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
2017 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Opened the season with a personal-best 1.97m (6-5.5) taking second place in the high jump at the UTEP Springtime.
- Competed at the Jim Bush Invitational leaping over the bar at 1.96m (6-5).
- Took bronze at the UTEP Invitational with a mark of 1.89m (6-2.5).
- Took sixth place at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge in the high jump.
- Competed at the C-USA Championships posting a mark of 1.92m (6-3.5) in the high jump.
2017 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Set a personal-best mark of 1.95m (6-4.75) at the New Mexico Classic in the high jump.
- Garnered eighth place overall at the New Mexico Cherry and Silver with a jump of 1.90m (6-2.75).
- Finished the season at the Don Kirby Invitational with a mark of 1.90m (6-2.75).
HIGH SCHOOL
- UIL 5A Regional qualifier in the high jump.
- Registered a personal best of 1.98m at three different meets.
- Placed third at the District 14-5A and seventh at regionals in the high jump.
PERSONAL: Born in Kisumu, Kenya ... son to Elly and Sherphele ... has one brother and four sisters ... forensic science major.
