2018 C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll
2018 OUTDOOR: Started off the 2018 season as part of the first-place team in the 4x400 relay at the UTEP Springtime.
2018 INDOOR: Ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay at the Commodore Invitational to help the team place third with a time of 3:16.88 … placed 24th overall at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational in the 400m with a readout of 51.46 … competed at the Texas Tech Classic with an eighth place finish in the 4x400m with a clocking of 3:40.83 … set two career bests at the New Mexico Classic by clocking in at 22.99 in the 200m and 51.11 in the 400m … crossed the finish line in 51.18 in the 400m at the Don Kirby Elite … took seventh place with a time of 3:20.70 in the 4x400m relay as well as 23rd-place showing in the 400m (52.35) and a 25th-place outcome in the 200m (23.00) at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
2017 OUTDOOR: Recorded a personal best of 50.31 in the 400m at the Brutus Hamilton taking third place … registered a time of 50.34 at the UTEP Invitational in the 400m … clocked in a personal-best time of 22.46 in the 200m at the UTEP Invitational … posted a fourth-place finish in the 200m at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open … competed a the C-USA Championships in the 400m.
2017 INDOOR: Notched a personal-best time of 51.18 in the 400m at the New Mexico Classic … competed in the 400m at the Don Kirby Invitational.
2016 OUTDOOR: Finished ninth at the UTEP Springtime meet in the 400m recording a time of 51.89 … ran a season best of 51.59 at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge … competed at the C-USA Outdoor Championships running 52.46 in the 400m.
2016 INDOOR: Ran a season best in the 400m (52.53) at the Lumber Jack Team Challenge … competed at the C-USA Championships in the 400m (52.66).
PRIOR TO UTEP: Finished 26th in the 400m dash at the Texas Southern Relays with a time of 51.17 as a senior … clocked a fifth-place showing at the Killeen ISD Relays with a mark of 52.24 seconds … member of the 4x400m relay team that finished second at the Lancaster Invitational with a time of 3:20.03 … has the 13th-fastest 400m time in Lancaster High School history with a time of 51.17.
PERSONAL: Son of Shekitah and Carnell Horn … plans to major in computer science … his brother, Carnell, was a sprinter for UTEP … younger sister is also a member of the UTEP track and field team … born in Terrell, Texas.
