2018 OUTDOOR: Opened the outdoor season with a win in the triple jump (14.62m) at the UTEP Springtime … with a personal best of 14.74m earned first in the triple jump at the Desert Heat Classic … registered a third-place finish in the triple jump at the Don Kirby Tailwind … finished the season with an appearance at the C-USA Championships in the long jump posting a personal best of 6.69m.
2018 INDOOR: Achieved a personal best with a 14.16m (46-5.5) triple jump at the Don Kirby Elite … took 16th place with a 13.57m (44-6.25) triple jump at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships … claimed 12th place at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational with a mark of 13.53m (44-4.75) in the triple jump.
PRIOR TO UTEP: Won gold at the UIL 5A District meet in the long jump (22-10) and the triple jump (46-2) … claimed bronze at the UIL 5A Regional meet in the triple jump with a personal best of 48-9.25 … finished fourth at 2017 Texas UIL State Championships in the triple jump (48-2) … notched six first-place finishes in the triple jump as a senior … a member of the 4x100m relay team that took second-place at the UIL 5A District meet.
PERSONAL: Son of Jamain and Delisa King … kinesiology major … has one sister.
