2018 OUTDOOR: Opened the season with a personal best and second-place finish in the 100m dash (10.74) at the UTEP Springtime meet … formed part of the UTEP 4x100m relay team at the Texas Relays … helped the 4x100m relay claim a third-place finish at the Don Kirby Tailwind … competed at the Conference USA Championships.
2018 INDOOR: Finished the season at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships with a career best in the 60m with a time of 6.95 and a seventh place finish in the 4x400m relay with a readout of 3:20.70 … took fourth place in the 60m at the Commodore Invitational with a time of 6.95 ... achieved two personal bests at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational with a readout of 21.85 in the 200m and a mark of 6.91m (22-8) in the long jump … competed at the Texas Tech Classic leaping to 6.85m (22-5.75) in the long jump to take ninth place … secured the bronze medal in the 4x400m clocking in at 3:16.14 at the New Mexico Classic … posted a mark of 6.89m (22-7.25) in the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite.
PRIOR TO UTEP: Set the DeSoto High School record in the long jump with a personal best of 24-8.5 set at the Lancaster Meet of Champions… took gold in the long jump at the UIL 6A District, UIL 6A Area meet and UIL 6A Region Championship … competed at the Texas UIL State Championship notching a sixth-place finish overall with a wind-aided mark of 23-1.5 … notched third overall at the UIL 6A District Championship in the 100m dash (10.93) … member of the 4x100m relay that claimed silver at the district meet with a time of 40.76 … took first and third at the regional meet in the 4x200m and 4x100m relay, respectively … as a junior, recorded five first-place finishes in the long jump … claimed silver in the long jump at the TC TTFCA Meet of Champions.
PERSONAL: Son of Ric and Doris Williams … Kinesiology major … has one sister.
