Biography

PRIOR TO UTEP: Three-time national champion of Greece for shot put (2015, 2017 and 2018) … placed second in shot put (18.43m) at the 2017 Balkan Youth Championships … placed third at the Balkan U20 Championship in the shot put … registered a personal best of 19.49m in the shot put (6kg) at the 2018 Trikala Greek U20 Championships claiming silver … competed at the 2018 Tampere IAAF World U20 Championships.

PERSONAL: Son to Panagiotis Machairas and Efthymia Bakogianni … has one brother … kinesiology major.
