Biography

PRIOR TO UTEP
  • Clocked in a tying personal-best 22.16 in the 200-meter dash finals to capture gold at the 2024 NMAA 5A State Track and Field Championships while competing at Las Cruces High School.
  • Clocked in a 22.16 at the 2024 NMAA 1A State Track and Field Championships. 
  • Won the 200 with a 22.23 at the 2024 NMAA 5A-District 3.
  • Turned a PR time of 48.67 in the 400-meter dash for a third-place finish at the 2024 NMAA 5A State Track and Field Championships. 
  • Captured the NMAA 5-District 3 400 title with a 49.04.
  • Won the 400 on a pair of occasions during the 2024 regular season, capturing a title at the Las Cruces Invite (51.65) and the Therman Jordan Relays (49.73). 

PERSONAL: Isaiah Caden Vallejos is the son of Jonathon and Deena Vallejos … has a twin brother … born in Las Cruces, N.M. … also played two years of varsity basketball at LCHS.
