one in the shot put ... placed eighth at the NCAA Regional Meet in the shot put
(15.55;51-0 1/4) and 11th in the discus (47.32; 155-3) ... finished second in the
discus at the UTEP Invitational with a regional mark of 49.97 (163-11) and seventh
at the Texas Relays with a regional mark of 48.35 (158-7) ... third in the shot put
