PRIOR TO UTEP: Competed in the 2017 UIL 5A District meet in the 300m hurdles clocking in a time of 48.47 … open the season with back-to-back third-place showings in the 300m hurdles at the Dallas Carter Lewis Invitational and Texas State University HS Invitational … clocked a personal-best 1:05.22 in the 400m dash at the Prairie View Relays … registered a personal best of 44.82 taking silver at the 2015 5A Area Championships in the 300m hurdles … took second in the 300m hurdles with a time of 45.61 at the District Championships … finished the season with a sixth-place finish in the 300m hurdles at the 2015 UIL Region 2-5A Championships.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Carnell Sr. and Shekitah Horn … has two brothers, who both have ran for the Miners … architecture major… was on honor roll, STEM program and Advanced Audio Video in high school.
