2020 INDOOR (SENIOR): Clocked a 25.01 for a third-place finish in the 200m at the Texas Tech Corky Classic … competed in the 200m and 400m at the Conference USA Championships … posted a season-best 56.84 in the 400m at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational … finished 11th in the 400m with a time of 57.60 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
2019 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR): Placed third in the 400m dash, clocking a time of 57.72 at the UTEP Springtime … raced the 4x100m relay, taking second place with a time of 47.60 at the UTEP Springtime … recorded a season-best 55.01 in the 400m at the Desert Heat Classic … placed eighth in the 200m dash with a time of 25.02 (w: 5.4) at the Texas A&M Invitational … competed at the Conference USA Championships in both the 200m dash and 400m dash … placed fourth with the 4x100m relay team, clocking a 46.27 at the C-USA Championships … placed fourth in the 4x400m relay, recording a time of 3:41.18 at the C-USA Championships … garnered fourth place in the 4x100m relay with a time of 46.27 at the C-USA Championships.

2018 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE): Started the season with a silver medal in the 400m dash and 4x400m relay at the UTEP Springtime … posted two first-place finishes at the Don Kirby Tailwind in the 400m and 4x400m relay … notched a silver medal as part of the 4x400 relay team at the C-USA Championships … registered a personal best of 54.89 in the 400m at the conference meet.
2018 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE): Won gold with a time of 11.38.18 in the distance medley relay and finished fifth overall in the 4x400m (3:44.90) at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships … achieved a personal best with a readout of 56.16 in the 400m to take 12th place at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships … helped the 4x400m relay team secure fourth place with a time of 3:47.50 at the Commodore Invitational as well as an 18th-place finish in the 200m (25.88) … took fourth place at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational in the 4x400m (3:51.72) … also grabbed a 20th-place finish in the 400m (57.98) at the meet … clocked in 4:08.84 in the 4x400 to clinch seventh place and a read out of 57.44 in the 400m to for 13th place at the Texas Tech Classic … competed at the New Mexico Classic placing fourth overall in the 4x400m with 3:48.41 and 14th overall in the 400m with a clocking of 56.52.
2017 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN): Earned gold at the C-USA Championships as part of the 4x100m relay team with a season-best time of 44.69 … also notched a personal-best time of 55.64 in the 400m at the conference meet ... competed at the NCAA West Preliminary in the 4x100m relay finishing 16th overall with a time of 44.91 ... took two second-place finishes in the 4x100m relay at the UTEP Springtime and Brutus Hamilton … clocked a personal-best time of 24.36 in the 200m at the UTEP Invitational.
2017 INDOOR (FRESHMAN): Registered a personal-best time of 56.16 at the Conference USA Championships in the 400m … helped the 4x400m relay team claim first place at the Cherry and Silver meet with a time of 3:42.25 … clocked a personal-best time of 25.00 in the 200m at the New Mexico Classic.
PRIOR TO UTEP: Qualified for the UIL 6A State Championships in the 400m with a time of 55.88 placing sixth overall … had her personal best of 55.22 in the 400m at 6A Region II … was part of the 4x100m relay which placed just outside the top 10 at Region II … helped win the 400m relay posting a time of 3:57.14 at 6A Area meet.
PERSONAL: Madison Gibson is the daughter of Wesley and Sala Funderburgh ... has two brothers and two sisters ... born in Dallas, Texas ... biomedical science and nursing major.
