UTEP Football Head Coach Scotty Walden announced Gino Gigliotti as director of player personnel. He joins UTEP after working at the Power Five level for the last three seasons.
Gigliotti served as director of recruiting operations at Syracuse for the last three seasons (2021-2023. He oversaw all aspects of the program’s recruiting along with unofficial, official and gameday recruiting visits. Gigliotti first joined the Orange in March 2019 as the recruiting quality control till August 2021 before being promoted.
Before Syracuse, Gigliotti served as the recruiting analyst at Coastal Carolina from January 2017 to February 2019.
In addition to his work with the Chanticleers, Gigliotti was a manager and defensive quality control coach for SUNY Cortland in 2016. He analyzed practice and game film, signaled in defensive plays from the sideline during games, and led the film distribution to Red Dragon players and coaches.
A Cortland graduate, Gigliotti holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management.
