Greg Yellin returned to UTEP to serve as an assistant to the men’s and women’s golf programs.
Yellin competed at UTEP from 2018 to 2022 and graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a business degree. Yellin is also a graduate of Coronado High School.
Yellin played in 25 tournaments during his career, achieving a 73.9 scoring average. He was UTEP’s top finisher four times in 10 tournaments during the 2021-22 campaign, including a pair of top-10 showings. Yellin took fourth place at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite and tied for seventh at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic. Yellin was named the CUSA Men’s Golfer of the Week on Feb. 2, 2022, following a 13th-place finish (out of 80 competitors) at the Arizona Intercollegiate. He shot 6-under par 210 (71-69-70).
Yellin was a three-time member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, while he was named the program’s MVP at the 2022 Golden Pick Awards.
