EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will close out its Let's SAAC Hunger Drive this Friday with the "Blow Away Hunger and the Tulsa Hurricanes" event at the Miners' volleyball match against the Tulsa.
The match, scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, will be the last opportunity for Miner fans to join C-USA Student-Athlete Advisory Committees in an effort to combat hunger in C-USA schools communities. All food items collected will be donated to the West Texas Food Bank.
Fans that bring non-perishable food items to Friday's match at Memorial Gym will receive free admission. Those unable to attend the match can drop off items in the first floor of the Larry K. Durham Center, at the Brumbelow Building (201 Glory Road) or on campus at the Miner Athletic Academic Center.
