EL PASO - UTEP men's basketball celebrates El Paso's rich Hispanic culture when they host UCF in the Inaugural Noche Latina Night on Wed., February 2, at 7:05 p.m. in the Don Haskins Center.
The game will feature Latin-themed activities, music and live entertainment.
"Noche Latina" will celebrate the contributions UTEP makes to the borderland as one of the nation's leading Hispanic-serving universities through the acknowledgment of nationally recognized faculty and staff.
With the Miners residing in the largest bi-national metropolitan area in the world, the Latin influence, in particular the Mexican culture, is experienced not only in the community, but within the history and tradition of the university itself.
