Anthony Rotich, Cross Country
Freshman Anthony Rotich finished first at the 2012 NCAA Pre-National meet defeating 271 runners on Oct. 13. Rotich clocked in a personal-best time of 23:01.00 in the men's 8K race. The track All-American defeated Paul Chelimo, who was runner-up at the 2012 NCAA Track & Field Championships in the 5,000m run.
Risper Kimaiyo, Cross Country
All-American Risper Kimaiyo clocked in a personal-best time of 19:46.0 at the 2012 NCAA Pre-National meet in Louisville, Ky. In what proved to be a close finish, the senior finished second overall defeating 263 runners that competed at the meet this past weekend.
