EL PASO- The Miner Athletic Club has officially sold out its Pregame Dinner for the upcoming men's basketball game against UCF on Saturday, February 16th. Doors for this weekend's reception will open at 5 p.m. (MT) at the Larry K. Durham Center.
Guests in attendance will enjoy a catered dinner from Chicago’s Street Food and get a breakdown of the evening's opponent from UTEP Assistant Coach Ken DeWeese. The Miners will tipoff at 7 p.m. at The Don Haskins Center.
"We continue to have a lot of excitement around our MAC Pre-game Dinners. We’re extremely thrilled to have a third consecutive sellout and look forward to sharing the same success for our final dinner on March 5th." commented Chris Park Associate AD for Development and External Operations.
Fans unable to purchase tickets for the February 16th pregame dinner are encouraged to contact the MAC office at 915-747-8759 or mac@utep.edu to make reservations for the final dinner on March 5th (Memphis).
The Miner Athletic Club (MAC) serves as the fund-raising arm of the UTEP Department of Athletics. The MAC's mission is to annually raise funds to offset the departmental cost of scholarships and sport programs supporting UTEP student-athletes. Funds are raised by the Miner Athletic Club through special events, annual membership, major and planned gifts, and through the donor portions of season ticket sales.
