Anthony Rotich Cross Country
Anthony Rotich ran to a seventh-place finish out of 310 runners. The junior finished his 8K with a time of 24:19.0. The two-time All-American has now finished in the top-10 at every Pre National event he has competed at. Rotich is one of only three Miners in program history to register a top-10 finish at this event.

Sarah Dilling Soccer
Sarah Dilling posted a season-high eight saves, including three in the final 10 minutes, while also recording an assist to aid UTEP to a 2-0 win against UTSA. The effort helped the Miners climb into a four-way tie for second place in the Conference USA standings. It marks Dilling's seventh shutout of the year and school-record setting 19th shutout of her career.

In the 86th minute with UTEP clinging to a 1-0 lead, Dilling drilled a kick that carried deep into UTSA territory. Freshman Jeanna Mullen did well to track it down, and she calmly chipped it over the outstretched hands of Roadrunner GK Katherine Tesno.

Dilling was also sharp defensively, with seven of her saves coming in the second half. She was forced to contest with shots that dipped and darted through the air like a knuckleball due to high winds but each of her saves were made cleanly.
