EL PASO, Texas – Over 7,400 tickets have been issued for the UTEP men's basketball team's 2022-23 home opener and "915 Game" versus NM State on Saturday, Nov. 12. The Haskins Center seating capacity is 11,892.  The Miners are trying to sell out a game in the "Bear's Den" for the first time in six years. 
 
UTEP's last sellout of a men's basketball game in the Haskins Center was on Feb. 6, 2016 versus WKU.

"I'd like to invite everyone in El Paso to RISE UP and help us sell out our first home game of the season," UTEP coach Joe Golding said. "This home opener is special since it's against NM State and we need all of the 915 to get on board for an action-packed season!" 
 
The Miners are facing the Aggies in their home opener for the first time in 24 years.

UTEP is coming off a 20-win season and postseason appearance in its first campaign (2021-22) under coach Golding.  It marked the Miners' first 20-win campaign and postseason showing since 2015.
