EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Volleyball Head Coach Ben Wallis announced the addition of six talented student-athletes who have signed with the Miners for the 2026 season. The incoming class includes Laila Amos (Fairburn, Ga.), Caryme Molina (Pasadena, Texas), Kaylynn Pardue (Greeley, Colo.), Elizabeth Pickett (Fort Worth, Texas), Daisy Voskuhl (Fulshear, Texas) and Bella Widmer (West Lafayette, Ind.) — a group rich with championship pedigree, athletic versatility, and high-level club experience.
Laila Amos | OH | Fairburn, Ga. | North Atlanta HS | A5 Volleyball Club
A standout player from Georgia, Laila Amos comes to El Paso following a decorated prep career at North Atlanta High School, where she led her team to back-to-back GHSA 6A State Runner-Up finishes (2022, 2023) and consecutive Region 6 titles. Amos recorded 758 digs, 109 aces, 763 kills, and 85 blocks over her career.
She's a two-time All-Region First Team selection, two-time Varsity MVP, and a 2023–24 AVCA Phenom and 2025 AVCA All-America Watchlist honoree.
With powerhouse A5 Volleyball Club, Amos helped capture multiple national titles, including the 2022 AAU 13 Open Championship and 2024 Big South (16 USA) crown, while also earning 2024 AAU All-American honors.
Caryme Molina | S | Pasadena, Texas | Pasadena HS | Houston Stellar Volleyball
A record-setting multi-sport athlete, Caryme Molina is one of the most accomplished players in Pasadena High School history. She has amassed 2,348 assists, 1,711 digs, 1,227 kills, and 326 aces, becoming the first player in school history to surpass 1,000 career kills, 1,500 digs, and 2,000 assists.
Molina is a three-time First Team All-District selection and was named Setter of the Year (2024) in District 18-5A. She has also earned multiple All-Tournament Team nods, academic honors, and national recognition from MaxPreps for aces per match.
On the club circuit, Molina starred for Houston Stellar Volleyball, helping her teams to a USAV Nationals 16 USA runner-up finish and multiple top-five national tournament placings. She was named to the USAV Nationals 16 USA and 17 National All-Tournament Teams.
Kaylynn Pardue | MH | Greeley, Colo. | Resurrection Christian HS | Colorado Juniors
A dominant middle blocker/hitter from Colorado, Kaylynn Pardue anchored Resurrection Christian to four straight regional titles and four state tournament appearances, including a 2023 Colorado 3A State Championship.
Across her high school career, she tallied 753 kills, 270 blocks, 106 aces, and 174 digs, while earning First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference honors.
With Colorado Juniors, Pardue helped her squad earn an Open Bid in 16s and finish fifth nationally in the 17s division. She was also named her club's Newcomer of the Year.
Elizabeth Pickett | OH | Fort Worth, Texas | Covenant Classical School | TAV Volleyball
Elizabeth Pickett brings a well-rounded athletic background and a competitive edge to the Miner roster. A four-year varsity volleyball standout and multi-sport athlete, Pickett also competed in basketball and track.
At Covenant Classical School, she helped lead her program to back-to-back TAPPS 3A District 1 titles (2024, 2025) and was coached by Kenneth Willingham.
Pickett also competes with elite TAV Volleyball Club under John Haroun, one of the nation's premier club programs.
Daisy Voskuhl | OH | Fulshear, Texas | Fulshear HS | Houston Skyline
A two-time state finalist, Daisy Voskuhl joins the Miners following a stellar run with powerhouse Fulshear High School, where she helped the Chargers to a third-place state finish as a sophomore and state runner-up as a junior.
Voskuhl trains under Sydney Zimmerman at Fulshear and competes for Houston Skyline Volleyball Club, one of Texas' top programs, coached by Sam and Ben.
Bella Widmer | L/DS | West Lafayette, Ind. | Benton Central HS | Boiler Juniors
Bella Widmer is a proven defensive leader from Indiana with a decorated prep and club résumé. A four-year varsity letterwinner at Benton Central, she helped her team capture four straight conference titles and multiple sectional and regional championships — including a 2025 regional crown.
Widmer recorded over 1,000 career digs (1,096) to go with 165 aces and 128 assists, earning honors such as All-Conference, All-District, Indiana 2A All-Star, and Academic All-State.
Competing with The Academy Boiler Juniors, she has helped her club win numerous titles — including the 2021 AAU 14 Open National Championship, Show Me Qualifier titles (2024, 2025), and Bluegrass Championships (2021–2024). Widmer was also named a 2025 JVA Athleader and is a member of the National Honor Society and Council for Academic Excellence.
