Biography
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Competed in multiple events at Miles High School.
- Ran the 800-meter race, 110-meter hurdles, 300m hurdles, 4x100 relay, and pole vault.
- Clocked in a personal-best 17.95 and finished fourth in the 110H at the 2025 Roscoe Blackland Divide Relays.
- Was first in the 4x100 with a time of 44.46 at the Roscoe Blackland Divide Relays.
- Competed in the 4x100 at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, clocking in a season-best 44.39.
- Placed third in the pole vault with a 12-6 at the 2025 UIL 2A Region I & Wheelchair.
- Turned in a PR 14.0 in the pole vault and placed first at the 2024 Wall Cotton Patch Relays.
- Posted a PR time of 2:29.63 in the 800 at the 2023 UIL 2A District 08 Track Meet.
PERSONAL: Luke “Latrell” Cerda was born in San Antonio, Texas ... also competed in basketball at Miles High School.
