PRIOR TO UTEP
  • Competed as a thrower at Conroe Oak Ridge High School.
  • Hurled a personal-best mark of 39-8.75 in the shot put, placing second at the UIL 6A Area 13-14 Meet. 
  • Finished second in the shot put with a mark of 38-10.5 at the UIL 6A District 13.
  • Tossed personal-best 141-8 in the discus, finishing first at the UIL 6A Area 13-14 Meet.
  • Took second in the discus with a 116-7 at the UIL 6A District 13.
  • Matched PR (141-8) and placed third in the discus at the UIL 6A Region II & Wheelchair.
