UTEP senior Chris Baryla qualified as an individual for the NCAA Championships on Saturday after tying for fourth place at the NCAA West Regional.
Baryla finished with a three-day, 54-hole total of 213 with rounds of 73, 69 and 71, respectively.
The NCAA Championships will be held at Cascades Golf Course in Hot Springs, Va. June 1-4.
It will be the first NCAA appearance for Baryla.
Baryla finished two strokes behind UCLA's Travis Johnson (66-73-72-211) and Arizona's Chris Nallen (71-68-72-211), who tied for first place. Baryla fired a 34 on the back nine and was three-under-par for the tournament.
UNLV's Ryan Moore was third (69-71-72-212).
The Miners finished 20th as a team (307-293-313-913). The top 10 teams qualify for the NCAA Championships.
UTEP's Colby Lindsay tied for 81st place (78-74-78-230), Dan Floyd tied for 117th place (77-76-84-237), James Allenby tied for 121st place (80-74-84-238) and Michael Goldwater tied for 125th place (79-81-80-240).
The top three teams were UCLA (283-288-294-865), New Mexico (284-286-296-866) and Arizona (288-287-297-872).
