KeAnne Langford to Play Volleyball at UTEP

EL PASO, Texas - KeAnne Langford signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at UTEP announced head coach Ken Murphy.

Langford comes to UTEP as a junior transfer from Hutchinson Community College where she was an NJCAA Division I All-Region VI selection while earning All-Jayhawk West Conference Honorable Mention. She was named to the Academic All-Conference. Langford was ranked 28th in the nation for digs by the NJCAA and was named American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week on Oct. 4, 2007.

A Kansas native, Langford played prep for Meade High School where she earned South Plains-Iroquois Athletics Association (SPIAA) firs team all-league in 2003 and 2005 and second team in 2004. She was three-time Hutchinson News All-Area and the Dodge City Globe All-Area in 2005.

Langford helped MHS to the 2005 Sun State Championship after taking second at the SPIAA league championships and two district titles (2003-04). She was the 2004 MHS Defensive Player of the Year.
