UTEP junior RB Donald Buckram, who turned in the top single-game rushing performance in the FBS this season in leading the Miners to a win over No. 12 Houston, has been named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.

Buckram who was also named the Walter Camp Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week, rushed 32 times for a career-high 262 yards and four touchdowns in UTEP's 58-41 upset of 12th-ranked Houston on Saturday. Buckram gained 104 yards in the first half and 158 in the second, averaging 8.2 yards per carry on the night. The 262 yards are the most by an FBS player this season and the second-highest total in UTEP history.
