EL PASO - The UTEP volleyball team concluded the 2009 season with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 26-24) loss at the hands of the Tulane Green Wave on Saturday afternoon at Fogelman Arena in New Orleans, La.

Senior outside hitter Catherine Chavez ended her career as a Miner second all-time in digs after posting five against Tulane for a career total 1,229.

Amy Sanders led the Miner offense with nine kills while Jennifer Nolasco paced the defense with 12 digs.
