600 ESPN El Paso will continue to be the radio home for UTEP Women's Basketball. Up to 13 games will be available on the AM dial this winter, with all remaining contests to be streamed on https://krod.com.

"We're thrilled to be back on 600 ESPN El Paso," UTEP women's basketball coach Baker said. "They've been broadcasting our games since 2014 and have really become synonymous with our program. They've been there for some exciting games and we look forward to bringing more thrilling moments to our listening audience this season."
600 ESPN will carry the Miners' season opener against UC Riverside this Saturday (7 p.m.), as well as matchups at NM State (Nov. 13), versus New Mexico (Nov. 19), versus Georgia State (Nov. 30), versus Weber State (Dec. 4), versus FIU (Jan. 2), versus North Texas (Jan. 25), versus Old Dominion (Feb. 8), at Marshall (Feb. 15) and at UTSA (Feb. 20). In addition, as many as three of the Miners' C-USA "Bonus Play" games in late February/early March can be heard on 600 ESPN.
600 ESPN sports personalities Steve Kaplowitz, Adrian Broaddus, Brandon Cohn and Duke Keith will call the action throughout the 2019-20 season. Former Miner Traci Miller will provide color commentary.
On June 1, 1940, KROD-AM 600 first went on the air in El Paso, Texas. It was owned and operated by Dorrance Roderick, who was also the publisher of the El Paso Times newspaper. Since 2010, the 5,000 watt all-sports leader has been an affiliate of ESPN Radio. Since it first hit the airwaves in 1992, SportsTalk is the longest running local talk show in El Paso, now in its 28th year.
