EL PASO, Texas – UTEP rifle was outdueled in its match with Akron, 4676-4545, Friday morning at the Robert A. Pinn Range. Redshirt freshman Isabel Brooks led the Miners for the second straight match with a 1139 aggregate (578 air rifle, 561 smallbore).
 
Senior Samantha Miller fired UTEP best air rifle score of the day with a 581, and redshirt sophomore Jennifer Windle posted a team-best 564 in smallbore.
