Mattress Firm to Serve as Presenting Sponsor of UTEP Men’s Basketball for Second Consecutive Season

EL PASO, Texas – Mattress Firm is partnering with UTEP Athletics for the second year in a row as the Presenting Sponsor of UTEP Men's Basketball. The partnership was secured by Van Wagner, the multimedia rights holder for the Miners. Mattress Firm and its 15 El Paso and Las Cruces locations will be recognized throughout the Miners' season as proud supporters of the program.

As Presenting Sponsor of UTEP Men's Basketball, Mattress Firm will continue to pay tribute to our veterans with the Honor Row promotion – a special section of camouflaged seats in the Don Haskins Center reserved for honored and retired military in El Paso.

Dan Longoria, CEO of Mattress Firm, is proud to support UTEP Basketball and help our veterans in a special way at each home game this year. "We are happy to continue our collaboration with UTEP Basketball. The legacy that this program has established in El Paso is unmatched, and we're just happy to be a part of the team," Longoria said.

New to the partnership this year with be the inclusion of Coach Joe Golding as a Mattress Firm spokesman. Listen for Coach Golding to support Mattress Firm throughout the season.
