UTEP T&F Set to Compete at the New Mexico Team Open January 26 & 27

EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP track and field team will head up the road to compete at the New Mexico Team Open in the Albuquerque Convention Center starting on Friday and concluding on Saturday afternoon.

Friday's action will start at 3 p.m., while on Saturday the gun goes off at 9:30 a.m.

Making the trip on the men's side are Jakub Belik (high jump), Oleksandr Blonskyi (60m H, pole vault, long jump, shot put), Xavier Butler (60m, 200m), Jalen Cadet (200m, 60m H, long jump, shot put), Stephen Carreto (400m, 4x400), Karon Dean (60m, 200m), Kevin Hewitt (400m, 4x400), Joshua Hill (200m, 400m), Aleks Hristov (shot put, weight throw), Noah Jirgens (weight throw), Zion Meaders (400m), Julio Pacheco (400m, 4x400), Mathew Polk (60m, 200m), Oriade Rashid (60m, 200m), Aron Tanui (800m, 4x400), Alejandro Tarin (mile, 3000m), Zacarias Velasquez (60m, long jump), Aman Verma (200m), and Jordani Woodley (60m, 60m H).

Competing for the women are Ra'ianna Artmore (long jump), Loubna Benhadja (400m, 4x400), Chinique Brown (200m), Niesha Burgher (60m, 200m, 4x400), Brenda Jerop (mile, 3000m), Ruth Jerubet (mile, 3000m), Joyce Kemboi (mile, 3000m), Vallary Kiplagat (mile, 3000m), Salma Licon (800m, 3000m), Sandra Maiyo (mile, 3000m), Denae McFarlane (60m), Zani Meaders (60m, 200m, 4x400), Arianne Morais (shot put), Natalie J. Murillo (weight throw), Esther Osisike (shot put, weight throw), Alla Parnov (pole vault), Marisa Simpson (60m, 60m H), Rejoice Sule (60m, 200m), Princess Uche (4x400), Karen Villa Medina (60m, 60m H, long jump, shot put), and Elise Wilcher (600m).
