EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Athletics and The Brandr Group (TBG) announced the introduction of the UTEP Basketball Legends Alumni Program, featuring jerseys and other apparel for Miner greats Randy Culpepper, Tim Hardaway and Stefon Jackson.

Fans can purchase replica versions of the jerseys that each of the 'Legends' wore during their historic careers at UTEP. Other items available for purchase include t-shirts, sweatshirts, bomber jackets, shorts, hats, windbreakers and sticker sheets.

"UTEP is delighted to collaborate with The Brandr Group on a Basketball Legends Alumni Program," said Jim Senter, Vice President and Director of Athletics. "This is a great way to celebrate our storied history on the hardwood and gives fans the opportunity to rep their favorite Miner players. We'd like to thank Randy, Tim and Stefon for getting on board with our inaugural launch and we look forward to bringing more UTEP legends to the table in the future."

"We are excited to add these three legendary UTEP Basketball players to our expanding NIL portfolio," said Jim Neish, Vice President of Licensing/Business Development for The Brandr Group. "Each of these players holds a special place in UTEP Basketball history and we are excited to partner with the Miners Athletic Department and Athlete's Thread to bring their retro jerseys and other apparel items to fans. We look forward to adding more former UTEP Basketball players to the program in the near future."

The 2010 Conference USA Player of the Year, Culpepper scored 2,338 points at UTEP (2007-11), making him the no. 2 scorer in school history. Culpepper is number one in the Miner record book for three-point field goals (318), and second in steals (251) and field goals (782). He led the Miners to a 26-7 record, the CUSA regular season title, and a berth in the NCAA Tournament during the 2009-10 season. In 2008, Culpepper was named the CUSA Sixth Man of the Year. Culpepper still plays professionally in Egypt.

Hardaway led the Miners to 101 victories, four NCAA Tournament appearances (1986, 1987, 1988, 1989), and was appointed the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 1989.  He is UTEP's all-time leader for steals (262), while ranking second in assists (563) and fifth in scoring (1,586 points). Hardaway enjoyed a 13-year NBA career and was a five-time NBA All-Star.  He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022.  His #10 jersey has been retired by the Miami Heat.

Jackson is UTEP's all-time leading scorer with 2,456 points over four seasons (2005-09). He is also tops in school annals in field goals (810) and free throws (726).  Jackson scored 20+ points 68 times in the orange and blue uniform (most in school history), while his fifteen 30-point games rank second. He rated seventh nationally in scoring as a junior (23.6 ppg) and fifth as a senior (24.5 ppg). He led the NCAA in free throws made (312) and attempted (374) during the 2008-09 campaign.

The initial collection of UTEP 'Legends' product will be available on-line through Athlete's Thread with more retailers and licensees rolling out in the near future.
