UTEP T&F Set to Compete at Texas Relays, Bobcat Invite, Stanford Invite March 28-30

EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP track and field will compete at a trio of meets as the Miners will see action at the Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas, the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State Track & Field Complex in San Marcos, and the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track & Angell Field in Stanford, Calif., on Thursday thru Saturday.

Competing at the Texas Relays on the men's side are Jakub Belik (high jump), Xavier Butler (100m, 4x1, 4x4), Jalen Cadet (4x1), Stephen Carreto (400m H), Karon Dean (100m, 4x1), Joshua Hill (4x4), Aleks Hristov (discus), Julio Pacheco Estrada (4x4), Oriade Rashid (100m, 4x1), Aron Tanui (800m, 4x4) and Jordani Woodley (110m H, 4x1).

Competing for the women at the Texas Relays are Loubna Benhadja (400m H, 4x4), Niesha Burgher (100m, 200m, 4x1), Asia Hodge (4x1), Brenda Jerop (10,000m), Zani Meaders (4x1), Arianne Morais (javelin), Esther Osisike (discus), Alla Parnov (pole vault), Marisa Simpson (100m H, 4x1), Rejoice Sule (100m, 4x1, 4x4) and Princess Uche (200m, 4x4).

Heading to San Marcos for competition on the men's side are Oleksandr Blonskyi (110m H, pole vault, Jalen Cadet (200m, long jump), Hristov (shot put, discus), Noah Jirgens (hammer throw), Maxwell Kipkosgei (800m, 1500m), Mathew Polk (100m, 200m) and Zacarias Velasquez (100m, long jump).

Going to the Bobcat Invite on the women's side are Chinique Brown (100m, 200m, 400m), Oghenekaro Brume (100m, 200m), Lizbeth Fierro (shot put, hammer throw), Ruth Jerubet (1500m), Salma Licon (1500m, 3000m steeple), Meaders (200m, 400m), Natalie J, Murillo (discus, hammer throw), Osisike (shot put, discus), Alexa Rangel (5000m), Alyssa Rosales (400m), Uche (200m, 400m), Karen Villa Medina (100m H, 400m H) and Paris Watson (discus).

Kenneth Talavera (1500m) and Sandra Maiyo (10,000m) will run at the Stanford Invitational on Friday.
