Benhadja Sets PR as UTEP T&F Wraps Up Mt. SAC Relays Saturday

WALNUT, Calif. – UTEP track and field's Loubna Benhadja clocked in a personal-best 58.03 in the women's 400-meter hurdles on the final day at the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday afternoon.
 
Benhadja, who ranks no. 1 in Conference USA, surpasses her season-best time of 58.21. The junior hurdler's previous career best was a 58.17 at last season's CUSA Championships in Denton. 
 
Princess Uche also competed, clocking in a 54.90 in the women's 400-meter dash. Uche currently ranks t-fifth with Loubna in CUSA with a 54.79. 
 
UP NEXT
The Miners will close out the regular season at the Arizona Desert Heat Classic on Saturday, April 27 in Tucson at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. Following a week off, the 2024 CUSA OTF Championships at Kidd Field will be held May 10-12.
