EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP women's golf team will compete in its fourth tournament of the fall season when it tees off at the Golf Iconic Classic, Oct. 13-15, in Las Cruses, N.M. NM State will serve as the host institution.

The Miners will compete against host NMSU, Boise State, Eastern Kentucky, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Jax State, Long Beach State, Nevada, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Santa Clara, Southern Utah, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, and UT Arlington.
The tournament is set for NMSU Golf Course (par 72, 6,420 yards). Round one begins Monday at 8:30 a.m. MT, followed by the second and final rounds Tuesday and Wednesday, each starting at 8:30 a.m. MT.
Making the trip for UTEP are

Taline Kyoumjian,
Atikan Cherdchoo, and
Nichapas Thawinwan, while
Amelia Fridlund and
Paige Wood will compete as individuals.
LAST TIME OUT
The Miners are coming off a 13
th-place finish at the Red Raider Invitational in Lubbock, Texas, where Origel led the way for the Orange and Blue, tying for 39
th with a score of 231 (77-72-82). Cherdchoo (81-77-77) and Yrizar (76-76-83) shared the second spot for UTEP, tying for 54
th overall.
