EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Athletics raised more than $12 million in the 24-25 fiscal year, shattering the previous school record by more than $1 million.

Led by the Miner Athletic Club, the fundraising arm for the UTEP Athletics, a total of $12,001,571 was raised.

Of the total dollars gifted, $7.7 million were in support of the Climb Higher campaign to increase the Miners' readiness to join the Mountain West Conference in 2026.

"We are so proud of Miner Nation for stepping up and moving the needle during a critical fundraising year for us," UTEP Vice President and Director of Athletics Jim Senter said.  "Our Miner Athletic Club team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to connect with our donors in a meaningful way. Their hard work, coupled with the passionate support of our donors, has enabled us to raise monies for talent acquisition, fund student-athlete scholarships, and make needed capital improvements to enhance the student-athlete experience."

"Thank you to our generous donors for their record-breaking support," UTEP Deputy Athletic Director for Revenue Generation Michael Levy said.  "Now more than ever, we are asking alumni and community members to step up, and they have continued to answer the call. UTEP Athletics has incredible momentum, and we are poised for success as we prepare for our new conference home in the Mountain West."

UTEP Athletics' 2,691 total donors during FY25 marked the second-highest number in school history, behind the 2,749 nearly 20 years ago in FY06.

With 54 major gifts of $25,000 or more in FY25, UTEP Athletics established another record, 35 more than the previous best.

The Gold Standard Giving Society was recently introduced.  To date, 50 members have joined and made a minimum commitment of $30,000 to UTEP Athletics.  For more information, visit www.UTEPMiners.com/GoldStandard.
