"Alex is the kind of big man we need as we get ready to make the move to the Mountain West. At 7'0, he has speed and athleticism that is rare for someone his size and fantastic defensive instincts. His ceiling is incredibly high. On top of that, he's a fantastic kid. We're looking forward to seeing what he does for Coach Cinco Boone at South Plains College this year, and I can't wait to get him on campus next summer."
