EL PASO, Texas – Season tickets for the upcoming 2025-26 seasons for the UTEP men's and women's basketball teams went on sale Tuesday. Individuals who wish to renew their season tickets from last year may also do so.
For both renewals and new purchases, visit the Eisenberg Family Ticket Office at the Brumbelow Building, call (915) 747-UTEP, email
tickets@utep.edu or explore online at
www.utepminers.com/tickets.
Prices for men's basketball start as low as $91.50 while women's basketball tickets can be purchased beginning at $75.
There will be a new look to the UTEP men's basketball team, with head coach Joe Golding having turned over the roster by signing eight individuals thus far to join returnees Jordan Hernandez, Elijah Jones, Trey Horton III and KJ Thomas. The staff also has a different flavor to it. Former associate head coach Jeremy Cox returned to the Sun City in the same capacity while NJCAA Hall of Famer Steve Green and Hunter Jenkins, who guided Frank Phillips College to its first appearance in the national tournament since 1958, were appointed as assistant coaches.
Head coach
Keitha Adams will have 10 returnees at her disposal from last year's unit, giving the squad experience and continuity in an era where that is uncommon. Keying the charge will be 2025 All-CUSA Second-Team honoree
Ivane Tensaie, who paced the team in scoring (12.6 ppg), 3-point percentage (37.8), free-throw percentage (85.0) and minutes per game (32.3). Second-leading scorer
Portia Adams (10.0 ppg) returns, along with the Miners' leader in both assists (
Delma Zita-3.6 agp) and rebounds (
Ndack Mbengue-7.3 rpg). UTEP also added five newcomers, with three from the high school ranks and two transfers.
