"Jace gives us another experienced player that will help us tremendously as we move to the Mountain West Conference. He played in the league for three seasons and we love that he's always been a part of winning teams, going to a pair of NCAA Tournaments. What he did this past season at Weber State showed what he can do as a scorer, shooter and a playmaker, and we think he can make an immediate impact at UTEP. He played for our new assistant coach Dan Russell at Weber State, and he comes to us highly-regarded as a result. We can't wait to get him to El Paso."
