Red Raider Invitational Tournament Info
EL PASO, Texas – UTEP women's golf returns to action Tuesday and Wednesday at the Red Raider Invitational, hosted by Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.

The tournament is set for The Rawls Course (par 72 | 6,762 yards). The opening 36 holes will begin Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. MT, followed by the final round Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. MT. All three rounds will feature shotgun starts.
Blanca Yrizar,
Camila Echavarri,
Essi Ekholm,
Luciana Origel and
Taline Kyoumjian will compete for the Orange and Blue.
Amelia Fridlund will compete as an individual.
The 12-team field includes host Texas Tech, ACU, BYU, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, New Mexico, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston, SFA, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UT Arlington and UTEP.

Senior
Luciana Origel paced the Miners at the season-opening Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, tying for 20th at 4-over 220 (69-76-75). Origel opened with a career-low 3-under 69 and recorded eight birdies.
UTEP finished tied for ninth in the 13-team field with an 895.
Taline Kyoumjian tied for 34th at 7-over 223, while
Camila Echavarri tied for 41st at 10-over 226 with 11 birdies in her collegiate debut. Freshman
Essi Ekholm, competing as an individual in her debut, finished 48th at 12-over 228 and closed with a 2-under 70, the lowest final-round score by a Miner.
